how it works

 step 1

Sign up for a kick-off meeting to secure dates and details with me. We’ll solidify the plan with a couple cal invites and google docs.

 step 2

I’ll take care of the tech details while you work on gathering your content. I make it easy—it’s practically fill in the blank.

 step 3

Identify strategic + creative direction together, then you’ll get to approve an aligned look + feel (like fonts, colors) to bring your foundation to life.

 step 4

And we’re live! You’re all set to share your new site complete with custom domain, analytics tracking, live training, and 1 month of support.

 

  • Quick. I’m typically able to offer a timeslot 3-4 weeks out for Website Foundation projects. Then we’ll go from start to finish line in 1 week! 🏁 The lead time will allow you to complete the copy guide and organize imagery.

  • Cost depends on which Foundation you choose (see options above)—no fees from me beyond this.

    Externally, you will need to sign up for a Squarespace subscription once prompted, but I pass along a 20% discount to you as a Squarespace Circle member.

  • No special code or web knowledge necessary. You’ll only be responsible for telling me (and your audience) about yourself—for which I’ll provide succinct education on how to do so.

    We’ll close with basic training for updating text or images in the future, and I’ll give you a cheat sheet to reference. A perk of being built on Squarespace means a user-friendly interface for those types of edits.

  • While built on Squarespace for its platform benefits (customer-friendly for making content edits, secure, equipped to grow with tools for commerce, marketing, blogging, etc), the Website Foundations use custom design and coded elements that can’t be found in any default design templates or building blocks.

    Further, you’re not left to figure out anything yourself; I do the work of transforming the Foundation into your website. No need to waste your time troubleshooting when I’ve got a tried + true system and the skills to fulfill your goals.

  • Applying your own unique style to one of the Website Foundations is 💯 / 🙌 / the M.O. !
